Dear Friends,

Thank you for visiting my website.  I am proud to serve as one of three delegates from District 30 and as Speaker of the Maryland House.  I do so because I care deeply about my family, my neighborhood, my district and my state.  I've consistently found bipartisan solutions to some of Maryland's most pressing problems, and I am grateful for the confidence that the voters of District 30 have placed in me. 

Thanks to all who volunteered their time, devoted their talents, and contributed much-needed funds during the campaign.

As I said throughout the campaign, this election was about continuing the progress we’ve made together through these tough economic times. We refused to sacrifice our priorities while making our state government smaller. Our commitment to education, job creation and the Chesapeake Bay are what will propel us forward towards a better future. The next four years hold their own unique challenges that I am confident we can work through together.
