Maryland’s Speaker OUR Delegate
Welcome to my website!
It is an honor and a privilege to serve my hometown of Annapolis as your delegate. As Speaker, I am excited to lead the House of Delegates this session and continue to help the hardworking families of Maryland.
The 2017 session began a few days ago. It is important that we continue to focus on a Maryland that works for everyone by maintaining a creative path forward and enhancing our transportation system so people can provide for their families. I am dedicated to strengthening our workforce with good wages, job training and a quality public education system. As always, I will continue to protect our Chesapeake Bay to ensure that it will not only be an environmental jewel but an economic engine.
It is my job to advocate for our values—to be your voice and fight for the issues that are most important to you. I am prepared for this session and optimistic for the future of Maryland.

It's as easy as 1-2-3:
This General Election, the first choice you will make is which day to vote.
Introducing Early Voting! Instead of having only one day to vote, now you can choose to vote on any one of eight days. Early voting centers will be open Thursday, October 23, 2014 through Thursday, October 30, 2014 from 10am until 8pm. Voting is convenient, accessible, and on YOUR schedule.
Mike is very grateful for the volunteer time and the funds that you have donated so far. But with only 9 weeks until the General Election, we are shifting the campaign back into high gear and, again, we need your help. Here's a rundown of what you can do to ensure victory:
Phone Banks and Direct Voter Contact
Daytime calls will be made to voters ages 55 and older and afternoon/evening calls will be made to voters under 55. Phone bank captains needed both daytime and evening! We will train you.
Monday through Thursday: 11am to 8pm
First, it is important for everyone to know that this year's Primary Election will take place on Tuesday June 24, 2014. This date is significantly different and much earlier than in years past so I encourage you to mark your calendars and be sure you know your polling location. For folks interested in skipping the long lines on election day be sure to make note that EARLY VOTING will begin on Thursday, June 12th and runs consecutively through June 19th at varying polling locations statewide from 10am-8pm.
